The Belmont Junior Football Club has been around for almost 100 years since it was first established in 1927. The club is one of the largest in the district and had over 300 players registered from ages 5 to 18 years of age in the 2022 season.The Belmont Junior Football Club has been recognised by the Western Australia Football Commission and the Perth Demons Football Club as a powerful club that has produced several AFL stars such as Chris Mayne (Fremantle Dockers), Michael Johnson (Fremantle Dockers) and past Fremantle player Dion Woods. As well as WAFL players and former Sandover medalist Brodie Anderson.
