Our mission is to connect our community by preserving and sharing its diverse, evolving stories through history, culture, and art... • Authenticity - We provide access to history and culture through well-documented collections, accurate interpretation, and reliable scholarship... 2022 has been a year of introspection for BCHS, with a goal of charting the best path forward for the organization. We participated in the American Alliance of Museums' Museum Assessment Program, and began a new strategic planning process. We also have written a new mission statement to better guide the organization. Exciting things are coming- stay tuned!
