Dirk Maurer is development manager for the ARIS Design Platform products at Software AG.
He studied electrical engineering and started with the company (formerly IDS Scheer) in 1995 as part of the ARIS development team. Along with ARIS Toolset version 4 he took over first project responsibilities for several core components. Starting in year 2000 Dirk has been in charge for the Java migration of the ARIS products that are sold till this day as ARIS Architect/ARIS Designer. In parallel he took over product management responsibility for the ARIS BPA and EA solutions. In the framework of the acquisition of IDS Scheer by Software AG Dirk became Vice President ARIS R&D. Amongst others he got the lead for an innovation program in order to enable ARIS products for the cloud and provide a new set of fully HTML5 based user interfaces, resulting in the current ARIS Connect products.

Jonas Manderscheid holds a doctorate in Business & Information Systems Engineering from the University of Augsburg. He formerly studied Business Informatics (B.A.) and Information Management (M.Sc.), while also serving as IT Consultant at Hamm Reno Group GmbH. From 2012 to 2016, Jonas has been a research associate at the Research Center Finance & Information Management and the Project Group Business & Information Systems Engineering of the Fraunhofer FIT, also engaged in applied research projects with companies like MLP AG and MELOS GmbH. Most of his work centers around business process management (BPM), focusing on the monitoring and improvement phases of the BPM lifecycle. Dr. Josef Blasini studied Management Information Systems at the University of Regensburg from October 2002 to March 2007. From April 2007 to December 2013, he worked as a research assistant at the chair of Management Information Systems III - Business Engineering - at the University of Regensburg, where he also received his doctoral degree (Dr. rer. pol., title of his doctoral thesis: "Process Performance Management - an empirical investigation of critical success factors") in November 2013.
Justus Tillmann Holler is part of the European Research Institute for Information Systems (ERCIS) at the University of Muenster and consultant at the Prof. Becker GmbH with a focus on Business Process Management, Business Intelligence and ERP Implementation. Matthias Kunze is a business process manager and business process consultant in the Business Excellence team at Zalando SE. Before joining Zalando in 2015, he was a student, research associate, and postdoctoral researcher at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam. Dr. Moe T. Wynn is a Senior Lecturer in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) within the school of Information Systems at Queensland University of Technology. Her research interests include process automation, process mining, data quality and comparative process analytics. She has published over 60 refereed research papers. Her work appeared in well-known journals in the field including Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information Sciences, Data and Knowledge Engineering, Information and Software technology, Formal Aspects of Computing, Journal of Computer and System Sciences, and Transactions on Petri Nets and Other Models of Concurrency.

Nico Clever is a postdoctoral research assistant at the Chair for Information Systems and Information Management at the Department of Information Systems of the University of Münster. Thomas Karle studied Computer Science at the University Karlsruhe (TH) - nowadays called Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) - and earned his doctorate at the Institute for Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods. As a Senior Consultant and Project Manager he has been working in the area of web portals, integration workflow solutions and implementation of ERP systems since 1990. In 2000 he was appointed into the Management Board of the PROMATIS Group and is currently responsible for the division Enterprise Architecture, dealing with business process oriented implementations of complex solutions containing standard business software and customized components. He is advising customers on the subjects of strategy and business process management. Dr Wasana Bandara is a tenured Senior Lecturer at the Information Systems (IS) School, Science and Engineering Faculty, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia. She has researched in a broad range of topics such as Process Modelling, Enterprise Systems, Shared Services, IS/BPM education. More recently her research is focused on Human Centric BPM and BPM in the developing country context. In addition to research in her discipline areas of IS and BPM, she has a passion for scholarly investigation into and the teaching of research methods. Friedrich Chasin is a research assistant at the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS), University of Münster, Germany and private lecturer at the South Westphalia University and the Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences. Gunnar is a passionated p-manager - all about processes, projects and (software) product development. After passing his diploma as business engineer he worked now for over 15 years in positions, where he connected business- and technology-stakeholders. At Zalando he worked over 6 years in the technology department heading different positions. Starting as responsible for the standard enterprise-resource-planning system Zalando used that days. After building a team of product-, process- and support-manager around the system, he drove the software-development of the own created ERP system ZEOS (Zalando E-Commerce-Operating-System) - full responsible for the wholesale part. Bringing the system live and handed it over to product management, he started to create a central team for process management within the technology department. This includes building up a process monitoring and anomaly detection system. After introducing "Radical Agility" in Zalando Tech, he worked as Delivery Lead Platform Excellence to ensure, the Fashion Platform work as expected.

Matthias Löchte is IT Project Manager at the Stadtwerke Münster GmbH, Germany. He managed the Stadtwerke Münster part in the Joint Research Project CrowdStrom with partners from all over Germany. His Thesis focused on the optimization of Combined Heat and Power Systems to adapt energy supply to demand in the heat and electricity sector (Power-To-Heat). The project CrowdStrom offered challenging opportunities to gain profound knowledge on the design and implementation of charging processes to support the usage of Electric Mobility. During the conceptual phase of the project, the Stadtwerke Münster employed their practical process knowledge for a scientific Business Process Model Survey. This knowledge was applied to design and implement a CrowdStrom prototype. The findings of the project team have contributed to several publications.

Roland Leitz is the Director IT of Adler Modemärkte AG. He holds a diploma in computer science, which he obtained at the university of applied sciences of Furtwangen in 1979. Afterwards, he was project development lead in various IT projects in the telecommunications, auto-mobile, and manufacturing domains. Roland worked as a freelancer for the consultancy company Mummert & Partner, before joining Adler Modemärkte GmbH in 1990. There, he worked as head of software development for two years, before entering his current position as Director IT in early 1992. He first investigated the opportunities of RFID technology in 2001, and conducted a feasibility study of RFID in 2005. Since then, he actively promotes the use of RFID in talks at conferences and workshops. He leads the RFID project at Adler. Since 2015, he also focuses on advanced use cases of RFID, like inventory robotics, and RFID-based intelligent fitting rooms.
