I create figurative sculptures inspired by memory, movement and time. My work is an attempt to transform ordinary matter into something extraordinary. To bridge the conceptual realm to the material world. These works are metaphors for the vulnerability and mortality of one's physical body. To achieve this I use stainless steel and mild steel because of their unmoving strength. I focus on the fortitude, power and beauty of the human form. Constructing a sculpture allows me to express what words cannot.
