Kenneth L. Brooks

Kenneth L. Brooks, Jr. "Ken" is a graduate of Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then spent time as a decorated law enforcement officer throughout the State of Florida, after which he attended and graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1991. Ken is the senior/managing partner of the firm and has been with the firm since 1993. The firm is a true "general practice firm", with Ken handling a wide variety of cases including Criminal Trial work in both State and Federal Courts from misdemeanors to capital felony matters; Family Law matters including divorces, adoptions, custody and child support cases; personal injury cases including Auto Accidents and Wrongful Death matters; business litigation and planning and a myriad of other services listed on the website. Ken is the son of Colonel Kenneth L. Brooks, USAF retired, and as you might expect traveled extensively worldwide.

Steven C. Warrick

Steven C. Warrick, "Steve", is a partner at our law firm. Although raised in Mobile, Alabama, Steve has called Florida home for the past 20 years. Steve is a graduate of the University of South Alabama (B.A. 1995) and Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center (J.D., cum laude 1999). Following his graduation from law school, Steve worked as an Assistant Public Defender for Jack Behr, Public Defender for the First Circuit of Florida. During that time, Steve developed strong trial advocacy skills representing indigent clients charged with various crimes. He used these skills upon leaving the Public Defender's Office and entering private practice. In 2004, Steve became an associate with the law firm of Fitzgerald & Brooks, P.A. He continued his work in the area of criminal defense, but expanded his areas of practice to include all areas of Family Law and Probate.
