Bruellan was founded in Geneva in 1991 and taken over by Antoine Spillmann and Jean-Paul Tissières in 2001. It was one of the first independent asset managers to gain FINMA approval, back in 2008... Speaking of which, Bruellan is one of the few asset management companies to boast a completely independent Board of Directors, more than a third of whom are women.
