At Callan Saddlery we specialise in saddle fitting, bridle making and all types of leather repair work. We also sell good quality English saddles, hand made and bespoke bridles and Neue Schule bits... We believe that all horses should have good quality, well fitted tack which includes saddles, bridles and bits. To help horse owners to achieve this we make and stock a selection of good quality tack and advise on appropriate tack and its' fitting... How we got our name - The name Callan is in memory of our first Great Dane. He was named Callanish after the standing stone in the Hebridean Islands, but was always known as Callan. He was a truly exceptional dog and we were privilieged to have known him albeit for only six and a half years. He was a popular sight as he and his friends daisy the Donkey roamed around Belwade farm and many visitors came to see him rather than the horses.
