CALVERT SLEEP CENTER - Key Persons
Dave is our board certified and registered Polysomnographic Technologist. Dave has over 15 years of experience as a Technologist and is an expert at administering our sleep studies.
Dr. Goring is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. She completed her fellowship in Sleep Medicine in June 2006 at John Hopkins Bayview followed by a Masters of Health Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Goring then spent her first few years at Hopkins as a Clinical Instructor involved in research in Obstructive Sleep Apnea and COPD.
She later accepted a position as Medical Director of Howard University Hospital's Sleep Center. She then transitioned into private practice with Calvert Internal Medical Group (CIMG) in Calvert County with the creation of Calvert Sleep Center.
Dr. Goring is Board Certified by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine ( AASM) and the American Board of Internal Medicine ( ABIM). Based on her experience and work in the field of Sleep Medicine she has earned the title of Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine ( FAASM).
CIMG is now Calvert Sleep Center independently operated by Dr. Goring and her staff. Dr. Goring brings 10+ years of experience in the field of sleep to Calvert Sleep Center. Her focus is on increasing awareness of the importance of sleep both in quantity and quality.
Mitch is our in-house IT guru who manages our sleep software and ensures privacy and protection for our electronic medical records.
Ron is our Office Manager and bring 20 years of management experience in a medical office to the team. We couldn't do it without Ron!
Shanice recently joined our team as a Medical Assistant after graduating from college. She brings a wealth of new ideas as it relates to technology and patient care.
Tony is our board certified and registered Polysomnographic Technologist. Tony has been a Technologist for 10 years and is the expert administering our sleep studies.
