CATARACT PROS - Key Persons

Dr. Bafna is a board certified ophthalmologist who completed a one year fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery after his ophthalmology residency. He has extensive experience treating laser vision correction patients. He has published and presented several peer-reviewed papers in ophthalmology including two chapters on laser vision correction. He has received numerous honors including the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship Award.

Dr. Schmid has more than 20 years of diverse experiences in Optometry. He has developed Cataract Pros around the idea of creating happiness through better vision. His professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Schmid earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After graduation, Dr. Schmid completed an ocular disease residency at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Schmid resides in Hudson with his wife (Dr. Susie Kim) and their two children.
