CHAMPION

It was Mothers Day as is the tradition for Vesta so we were cheered on from Hammersmith bridge by Harriet waving a ‘go champs' placard and Lizzi who joined us for post race picnic. We managed an efficient overtake being pushed on by Gemma in pairs... Champs is a friendly, inclusive rowing club, based in Cambridge, England. We have a thriving membership of active rowers including men's, women's, masters and junior girls crews. Champs crews range from the highly competitive (training/racing several times a week - competing at major races off-Cam) to the social crews who like to strike the life-sport balance on the life side. The Champs has established a Junior Rowing Programme (focused on ages 11-18). We welcome experienced rowers as new members at any time - find out more about joining Champs.
