Reinke kam 1991 zur Union Investment Gruppe, wo er zunächst als Vertriebsberater und dann als Bezirksdirektor Vertrieb tätig war. Seine berufliche Laufbahn startete er 1987 bei der Volksbank Wachtberg. Dort leitete er ab 1990 die Vermögensberatung und später den gesamten Bereich Passivgeschäft. Reinke absolvierte eine Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann. Er ist diplomierter Bankbetriebswirt ADG.

Jürgen Fitschen (born 1948) is Senior Advisor to Deutsche Bank and was its Co-Chief Executive Officer from June 1, 2012 until May 19, 2016. Since September 2, 2017 he chairs the Board of the Deutsche Bank Foundation. Trained as a wholesale and export trader, then graduated in business administration from Hamburg University. Juergen Fitschen started his career in 1975 at Citibank in Hamburg. In 1983 he was appointed member of the Executive Committee of Citibank Germany. In 1987 he joined Deutsche Bank and after various management positions in Thailand, Japan, Singapore and UK he was appointed member of the Management Board in 2001 responsible for "Corporate and Investment Bank". Juergen Fitschen left the Management Board in 2002 and became a member of the newly created Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank until its resolution in 2015. In 2004 he took over the responsibilities as Global Head of Regional Management and CEO of Deutsche Bank Germany. In 2009 he rejoined the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG retaining both responsibilities, and was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer as of June 1, 2012. Fitschen is chairman of Supervisory Board of Vonovia AG and member of the Board of Directors of Syntellix AG. Furthermore, he is chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Foundation. From April 2013 until April 2016 Fitschen was President of the Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V.).

Professor Dr. Axel A. Weber is President of the Center for Financial Studies since July 2022. He was Director of the CFS from 1998 until 2002 and has been a CFS Senior Fellow since 2011. He was a board member and Chairman of the board of UBS Group AG. Weber was a visiting professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2011 to 2012. From 2004 to 2011 Weber was President of the Deutsche Bundesbank and a member of the governing council of the European Central Bank. In recent years he has also acted as a member of the steering committee of the European Systemic Risk Board and as a member of the steering committee of the Financial Stability Board. Axel Weber holds a diploma in Economics from the University of Konstanz and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Siegen where he also obtained his habilitation in 1994. He held Professor positions at the University of Cologne, Goethe University Frankfurt, and University of Bonn. Weber is a member of the Advisory Board of Goethe University Frankfurt. Prof. Weber served as German Governor at the International Monetary Fund. He was a member of the German Council of Economic Experts (2002-2004), of the expert advisory panel to the Deutsche Bundesbank, of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements, of the G7 and the G20 Ministers and Governors, and a member on the Grant Commissioning Panel of the Economic and Social Science Research Council of the United Kingdom.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Hackethal

Andreas Hackethal has been Director of the Center for Financial Studies since July 2020 and Professor of Finance at the House of Finance at Goethe University since 2008. He also heads the "Pension Finance Center" at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Market Research SAFE - also in the House of Finance. From 2011 to 2015 he was Dean and since 2015 he is Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. His research interests span digitisation and AI in the financial sector, the financial behaviour households and pension finance. His work has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies and the Review of Finance, among others, and has been regularly taken up by national and international media. Since 2009 he has been a member of the Advisory Council of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BAFIN, since 2011 of the Stock Exchange Expert Commission at the Ministry of Finance and since 2017 of the working group consulting ESMA's Financial Innovation Standing Committee. As a co-initiator of the Frankfurt TechQuartier and as academic director of Goethe University's start-up centre, he is committed to promoting entrepreneurial talents and their start-ups. He sits on the supervisory boards of two technology start-ups and on the advisory boards of several financial institutions. Through the initiative Deutsche Renten Information e.V., he has been advocating for many years more transparency in pension provision and financial education. Together with partners from the insurance, asset management, banking and technology industries, and partly financed by the European Fund for Regional Development, a fully functional pension cockpit has been developed and tested under scientific supervision. He has won more than twenty teaching awards and in 2010 he was named Germany's Professor of the Year by the university magazine unicum for supporting student careers. At Goethe University, he is also a member of the Third Mission Council and the Commission on Dealing with Private Third Party Grants. In the city of Frankfurt am Main he is involved in the Frankfurt Society (Presidium and Admissions Committee) and the Polytechnic Society, among others.

Rainer Klump became Director of the Center for Financial Studies in July 2020. He is Professor of Economics and Chair of Economic Policy at Goethe University Frankfurt since 2000 after having held academic positions at the Universities of Wuerzburg and Ulm. Research visits and guest professorships led him to Washington DC, Paris, Lyon and Shanghai; over many years he has also conducted field studies in various regions of Vietnam. In July 2022, Rainer Klump was also appointed Executive Director of the House of Finance. Between 2006 and 2008 he served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, between 2008 and 2014 he was Vice President of Goethe University Frankfurt, and between 2015 and 2017 he held the office of Rector of the University of Luxembourg. Since 2008 he has been Prinicipal Investigator of the Frankfurt based Cluster of Excellence "The Formation of Normative Orders".
