Dr. Blaising's advanced training and experience allows her the privilege of doing what she loves most: helping people overcome difficult hearing losses.
Dr. Diane Blaising began her career in audiology in 1992. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, having previously earned her master's degree in audiology from the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has years of experience working with hearing-impaired adults and children in otolaryngologists' offices. Moreover, as a pediatric audiologist at the Louisville Deaf Oral School, she served preschool children who were deaf or hard of hearing.
Dr. Blaising is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology. She is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology, and the Texas Academy of Audiology. In addition, Dr. Blaising has twice been given the Ace Award for continuing education.
Dr. Blaising and her husband (both fifth-generation Texans) are active members of First Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Her husband serves at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have two children.
With a diverse background in hospitality and administrative positions, Emily is all about helping others. "That's what I love about this job," says Emily. "It has been a privilege to learn about audiology and to be able to help people with their hearing needs."
Emily's strong work ethic also extends to her academics as she works toward a Bachelor of Arts in humanities and biblical studies at L.R. Scarborough College. In her free time, she enjoys attending church; getting together with her large, loving family; camping; hiking; exercising; and organizing.
Lisa and her husband, Chad, love to serve others together and to travel the world on missions, but their primary mission is and has always been their two sons, Sean, 20, and Cobey, 17.
Rachel is thrilled to be back in Cowtown serving her community.
She performs comprehensive audiological testing, comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and hearing aid programming. She has a special interest and certification in the evaluation and treatment of tinnitus issues. Dr. Ruiz is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Her passion for audiology stems from her family dealing with hearing loss. She treats each patient as family and helps them improve their overall quality of life. She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
