Bunmi Oke

Mrs Olubunmi Oke is in charge of the day-to-day running of the leading integrated marketing communications agency in Nigeria - 141 Worldwide (an international agency which is a member of the WPP group - largest communications group in the world). As the pioneer Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director, she has lead a prolific team of professionals over the last seven years, and built 141 into a prominent world-class advertising agency in Nigeria. 141 handles several multinational accounts including British American Tobacco - West Africa Area, Etisalat Nigeria, SWIPHA, First Bank of Nigeria, Multi choice/DSTV, Cadbury Nigeria Plc and many others. Bunmi is a British-Born Nigerian (with over 25 years' experience), who started her career in advertising at Grant Advertising (McCann - Erickson affiliate) in 1986, where she worked as a PR Executive/Account Management trainee. Joining LTC - (now JWT ) advertising in 1989, her exceptional organizational and presentation skills resulted in her rising through the ranks rapidly over 10 years and became the first female client service director. Bunmi went to the best schools in Nigeria and hence is an alumni of the University of Lagos, Queen's college, Yaba, Lagos and Holy Child College, Obalende, Lagos! Bunmi is now the 17th & 2nd Female President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), & is a member Council of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON). Bunmi has served as an executive and Vice President of AAAN Board. She is the only practicing female Fellow of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, (APCON) amongst the 4 women in Nigeria who have attained this level. Bunmi is well travelled and has attended several business and advertising courses in Nigeria and abroad. She was also a recipient of the 2011 Vital Voices - Wimbiz & Exxon - Mobill ToT EinH training in Uganda programme, for a female marketing communications specialist in Nigeria. She was also part of the Nigeria/South She spends her spare time engaging in philanthropic work and Christian social activities. Bunmi has been married to Kola Oke (a civil engineer) for over 24 years and they are blessed with a set of twin sons, who are currently pursuing their university education.

Chike Nwokoye

Chike Nwokoye is a Brand Development and Communications Specialist with over ten years' experience in building Fledgling and Innovation Brands across sectors. Starting out as a Trainee Copywriter with Lowe Lintas, Nigeria's Foremost Advertising Agency; he has risen through the ranks and now is Strategy Director at the IMS Group, a leading Integrated Marketing Communications Company. He is also a Managing Partner at Irradeate; a social innovations company that is focused on designing and implementing solutions to tackle Nigeria's unemployment and unemployability issues. Femi Odugbemi

Femi is an award-winning Writer, Producer/Director and photographer who is widely respected for his creativity and professionalism. He has worked in the Nigerian motion picture industry and has created and produced several critically-acclaimed entertainment programmes for television and radio. Trained in Film & TV Production at Montana State University,Bozeman, United States, he worked for a couple of years as a Producer at KUSM Channel 9 TV station in Bozeman, Montana. A renowned name in advertising and marketing communications in Nigeria having directed memorable television advertising formany of Nigeria's blue-chip multi-national companies. He worked as Film & Radio Producer at Lintas Advertising and later as Associate Creative Director at STB-McCann, Lagos. In these places, he wrote, directed and produced several notable documentaries, dramas and commercials for such multi-national concerns as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestle,Cadbury, Beecham, Rekkit-Benckister, MTN, CELTEL and manyother FMCG marketers. Since 1999, he has worked as an Independent Producer/Director. His screen credits include "Like father, like son" (a TV sitcom) "Who do you Love?" (SFH talkshow), "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" (Nigeria's most popular gameshow), the recent "Lagos Lottery TV Gameshow," the international documentary "Life in Lagos"(2002) for CFI in France, "Oui Voodoo"(2005) "Metamorphosis"(2006) "Bar Beach Blues"(2004), a short drama which won best short film at the Zuma Film festival, and "Maroko" (2006) a full-length feature. In the last year he has produced "Mama Put" a New Direction short film and also a documentary titled "Ibadan - Cradle of Literati." Femi is also currently the Content Producer of the first-ever Soap-opera commissioned by MNET in sub-saharan Africa titled "TINSEL." From 2003 to 2006, Odugbemi served as the President of the Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN). As President of ITPAN, he worked assiduously to create international platforms of collaborations and cooperation amongst motion picture practitioners within the African continent. Persuaded that many professionals in Africa face the same professional and environmental challenges of technology, budgeting, audience development and distribution, he has demonstrated commitment to nurturing corporate access into the entertainment industry as a way of addressing global imbalances in skills and resources. At the same time, Mr. Odugbemi Chaired the Lagos International Forum on Cinema, Motion Picture and Video in Africa, an annual film event since year 2000, designed to invite international attention to the opportunities and potentials of the motion picture industry in Africa. The last such Forum, held at the Lagos Business School, Lekki, Lagos in July 2006 and it attracted participants from France, South Africa, Zimbabwe, United Kingdom, Ghana and all the countries in West African Sub-region. Recently, Femi Odugbemi was appointed by the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation to the Steering Committee of the Motion Picture Council of Nigeria, (MOPICON), the nation's highest regulatory organ for the film industry.

Ibrahim Adeola Ganiyu

Ibrahim Adeola Ganiyu, is a creative person by birth, Graphic designer by Education, Illustrator by choice, Animator by design and an all-round Creative artist by everything else. I was born in Lagos in November, 1976 He is graphic design graduate from the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and presently run a creative Products and services company called Imperial Creations Studios Limited (ICStudios) as CEO and Creative Director. He is also Chief Partner/Executive Creative Director at Playfactor Games Limited (a video and board games development and marketing company), Director, Emperata Contact Marketing (a direct impact Products and services marketing concern), CEO, Gaison Enterprises and Lecturer at Orange Academy, Lagos for Break Away Designers (BAD) and The Creative Department (TCD). He has worked worked with and consulted for companies in Video Production, Advertising and TV content development. His strength is his creative mind channeled most times through his illustrations, animations and through comics. He started what is today known as ICStudios in 1990 while in Secondary school with the vision to create the largest pool of creative persons the world has ever seen and channel their creative prowess (powers) towards individual and societal economic growth. Over 18 years down the line, he is still on course. His published works are: Dark Edge (Published by ICStudios), Hard man (Thisday newspapers), Boltara (Thisday newspapers), Badgais detective stories (Thisday newspapers), Moremi (published by Revolution Media), and Kaboom comic magazine (Published by Prex, amongst others.There are others yet to be published.
