Dr. Jai Menon

Dr. Menon (www.menonjai.com) is a global technology leader with over three decades of experience spanning US, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia across IT, telecom and media industries. Having traversed two phases - a researcher inventing deep-tech and top corporate leadership - he has entered a third phase of mentoring and entrepreneurship across multiple industries. He has held global CIO/CTO and business leadership positions in IBM, AT&T, Airtel, Bharti Enterprises and HT Media. A Distinguished Alumnus of IIT-Delhi, he has received several global recognitions such as Global CIO 50 (US), Forbes (US), GSMA (Spain), Telecom Asia (Hong Kong), IDC (Singapore) and NASSCOM (India). He has authored over 35 US patents, 3 European patents and nearly 100 international research publications. He has also served on several global advisories including the TM Forum, GSMA, NASSCOM, CII, IBM, Oracle, Teradata, Aricent, Zinnov and Firstwave Cloud Technology. He has been a member of IEEE, ASME, ACM and Phi Kappa Phi. Dr. Menon received his MS/PhD from Cornell and BTech (first rank) from IIT-Delhi. He has completed executive management programs from Harvard, Wharton and Sloan (MIT) schools of business.

Dr. Kulwant Singh

Dr. Kulwant Singh, presently the Coordinator of Smart Move High Level Group (India) of the Geneva based International Road Transport Union (IRU), is also the CEO of 3R WASTE Foundation (India). Dr. Singh served as Chief Technical Adviser for the Urban Basic Services Branch of UN-Habitat, Nairobi from January 2004 to December 2008. In his role as the Chief Technical Adviser, he contributed significantly to policy dialogue with partner countries in Asia and the Pacific and in the design and implementation of a large number of basic urban services initiatives. Since December 2008, Dr. Kulwant Singh has continued to support the work of UN-Habitat, with particular reference to the basic urban services comprising, water, sanitation, waste management, energy and urban mobility. In this role, he has supported the Urban Basic Services Branch in the formulation and implementation of projects and dialogue with partner national and city governments. He has also significantly contributed to the normative work of the agency by contributing to papers and publications and represented UN-Habitat in regional and international fora on urban basic services themes. He has been a visiting faculty at UNESCO-IHE Delft and Institute for Housing and Urban Development (IHS), Rotterdam, the Netherlands from 2004-2011. Prior to joining UN-Habitat in January 2004, he was the Executive Director, Human Settlements Management Institute, New Delhi for 12 years. An urban economist, he was a part of the Indian Economic Service from 1971-1992. He has published papers widely on the topics of urban management and provision of basic urban services.

Dr. Leena Srivastava

Dr Leena Srivastava assumed the position of Deputy Director General for Science of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), in Vienna, Austria in November 2019. In her new role, she provides interdisciplinary scientific leadership to the institute to ensure that IIASA research stays at the forefront of scientific endeavor for sustainability. Prior to this, for about seven years, Srivastava was the Vice Chancellor of the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS) in New Delhi, India. TERI SAS is a research University with about 180 Phd students and close to 500 Masters students. It specialized in providing specialized education in sustainability studies. Srivastava started her career in The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and worked there for more than three decades, exiting as the Executive Director. TERI is an independent not-for-profit research institution, with a staff size of nearly a 1,000 people, working in the areas of energy, environment and sustainable development. At TERI, Dr. Srivastava worked on a range of issues covering energy and environment policy/planning, energy economics and climate change. During her career, Dr. Srivastava served on several Corporate Boards, Government Committees and Boards/Councils of international organisations. Some of these are: Member of the President's Climate Change and Sustainability Advisory Board of ADB; Co-Chair of the Science Advisory Group on Climate Change to the UN Secretary General; Member of the United Nations Secretary-General's High-level Group on Sustainable Energy for All;Member of the Expert Committee to formulate India's Energy Policy, and Member of the National Security Advisory Board of the Government of India. She served on the sustainability advisory boards of multinational companies - The Coca Cola Company, Caterpillar Inc and Suez Environment. She also served on the Boards of Reliance Infrastructure, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Shree Cement and Bharti Infratel. She was a coordinating Lead Author of the 3rd IPCC Report and cross-cutting theme Anchor on "Sustainable Development" for the 4th IPCC Report. She serves on the Boards/research advisory councils of various academic institutions of international repute. She has a PhD in Energy Economics from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and has a number of publications to her credit. She was on the editorial boards of various international journals dealing with energy and environment issues.

He has worked in leadership positions in several organizations including Swades Foundation, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, Jain Satellite Television, MGF Group and has successfully conceptualized and implemented strategic roadmap for driving CSR and corporate affairs for sustainable businesses besides managing P&L.

Vibha Rishi

Vibha Paul Rishi is an experienced marketing professional with stints in Indian and international markets, coupled with an abiding passion for people. Her last role was as the Executive Director, Brand and Human capital of Max India, prior to which she was the director, marketing and customer strategy at the Future Group. She holds an honours degree in Economics from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University and a management degree from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University with specialization in Marketing. An accomplished marketing evangelist, Vibha has extensive international experience in leading global marketing campaigns for high visibility consumer products including New Product Development and Launch, Entering New International Markets and Strategic Planning. She was a founding member of Pepsi in India has led many large consumer and retail businesses in India and abroad. Vibha is also on the board of Asian Paints Ltd., Escorts Ltd., Tata Chemicals Limited, The Indian Hotels Company Limited, PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited, Pratham Education Foundation, Future Consumer Enterprises Ltd, Entertainment Network (India) Ltd and Pratham.
