Since I was a child, I've been designing things. I've repurposed LEGO sets to satisfy my changing toy preferences, drew up "blue prints" for homes and tree houses that would be every kid's dream. I've even imagined new controller schemes for the games I was playing. (PS2 and N64 controller schemes were so bad for FPS games) From early stages of life I thought of ways to improve the things around me to fit my needs. I always knew I wanted to design things when I grew up, I just didn't know what... Later in life I realized it wasn't so much the specific domain that interested me. It was the act of ideating solutions and solving problems that got me excited. Even as a child I was never satisfied with the "final" product.
