Amy Suter is a board certified physician assistant who has been practicing dermatology since 2008. She graduated at the top her class with a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Toledo Medical School in 2007. In 2012, she became a diplomate of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants by completing a rigorous course of study that included over 70 hours of dermatology training. Additionally, she is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is current with all recertification requirements. Mrs. Suter is an active member of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, and commits to ongoing learning through CME meetings, journal reading and home study courses.
Mrs. Suter treats patients of all ages for a wide variety of skin conditions. She is available Monday through Thursday and some Fridays.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Suter resides in Alexandria with her husband, Richard.

Courtney Nobles, licensed practical nurse, earned her nursing license in May of 2016. She was inspired to pursue a career in nursing after witnessing the exceptional care her grandfather received during a time of illness. Courtney began her dermatology nursing career working with Dr. Dean in 2016, and currently serves as the clinical nursing supervisor as well as the laser nurse at Dean Derm.
In addition to demonstrating her passion for care giving on a daily basis, Courtney also spends time counseling patients and assisting them with obtaining biologic prescriptions. While working in dermatology, Courtney became particularly interested in laser treatments and decided to pursue laser training along with obtaining her certification for the Sciton Joule lasers in November of 2017. She has continued to enhance her laser knowledge by attending multiple laser conferences throughout the years, which has allowed her to stay current with the most up to date treatments for a variety of skin conditions.
Courtney is passionate about helping patients reach their skin care goals and promoting self care.

Cydnie Plaisance is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her education began at Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) where she graduated with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2015. After obtaining her associate's degree she began working as a nurse in the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) at Rapides Regional Medical Center where she continued to work for 4 years. While working, Cydnie continued her education at LSUA in order to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2019. After completing her formal education, she spent two years caring for patients under the supervision of a cardiovascular surgeon in Alexandria, Louisiana. In 2021, Cydnie began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in dermatology through extensive hands-on training by board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Rachel Dean. She works side-by-side with Dr. Dean and PA, Amy Suter at Dean Derm where she continues to practice excellent patient care under the supervision of Dr. Dean. She has completed her course work towards becoming a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner and plans to receive her certification in 2022. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Cydnie and her husband, Peyton, along with their son reside in Pollock, Louisiana.
Dr. Rachel Dean is a board certified dermatologist. She graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University (in her native Shreveport) with a BS in Biological Sciences. In 2009, Dr. Dean received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. There she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Lewis Gottlieb Scholar Award for demonstrating scholarship and devotion. She completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center before three years of dermatology training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After completing her residency training, Dr. Dean practiced for four years at a private dermatology clinic in Alexandria, Louisiana before creating Dean Derm.
Dr. Dean takes several approaches to staying current in the field of medical dermatology. She is an avid reader of dermatology literature and an active participant in a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Louisiana Dermatologic Society, the National Psoriasis Foundation and Women in Dermatology.
Dr. Dean enjoys practicing all areas of dermatology, including complex medical dermatology (including psoriasis and connective tissue disease), skin cancer detection and prevention, and cosmetic procedures, which help patients maintain natural hallmarks of youth. She treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Rachel Dean, her husband, Jason Dean, and their four children reside in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Rachel Vines is a vital part of the Dean Derm team where she performs aesthetic procedures. She originally graduated from Pineville Beauty School and received her cosmetology license in 2016. While using her cosmetology skills part-time, she furthered her formal education at Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSU-A) where she obtained a Bachelor of General Studies in 2021. Rachel's passion for all things aesthetic inspired her to look for a position where she could utilize her knowledge of skin care and apply her gift of service, which ultimately led her to Dean Derm. She is an expert in skin care and performs procedures such as facials, waxing, dermaplaning, acne extractions, VIPeels, Diamond Glow, lash extensions, and lash lift and tint..
