With origins dating to the mid 1800's, this beautifully restored and extended Cape Dutch house is the epitome of Karoo hospitality, elegance and history... One of eighteen gabled houses in the village, the De Bergkant Lodge was build by Carel Lotz, creator of the Prince Albert Gables, as a wedding present for his daughter Petronella when she married Helmuth Luttig in 1858.
