Fardad Farhat was partly educated in England and attended Pepperdine University Malibu, and UCLA. In 1981 he started his career in Naval Architecture at Litton Industries designing battleships and frigates using the (then) latest CAD systems.
In 1984 Fardad joined Digitarch s.r.l. an Italian Architectural software company as a partner to enhance the design of the company's software. Mr. Farhat with his two partners Daniele Tommei and Antonio Durbe created a custom CAD software out of the need for speed in the production of their Architectural drawings. The CAD software programming and sale became a business which to-date operates in Europe as Digiarch. Also in 1984, Mr. Farhat established Digital Architecture in the US to offer Architectural services using the company's CAD software. In 1987, Mr. Farhat partnered with his mentor and world-renowned Architect James Langenheim. Mr. Langenheim served as Architect for Howard Hughes, Bob Hope, and many other noteworthy celebrities and industry-leading clients. Additionally, among dozens of iconic project, Mr. Langenheim designed the TransAmerica Building in San Francisco, the LAX and master-planned the entire 90,000 acres Irvine Ranch for The Irvine Company. Under Jim's tutelage, Fardad established his credentials in the creation of timeless designs and Architectural construction documents in a manner that propelled two of the company's clients to over one Billion dollars in real estate holdings in less than ten years.
As the Chief Visionary Officer of multiple entities, each of which is run by a group of licenses and experienced professionals, Fardad's multidimensional thinking connects the dots between industries and cross-pollinates information, talents, and services across interrelated disciplines creating new and unusual opportunities for all concerned.
Beyond Architecture and construction, Mr. Farhat in his travels encountered certain unusual and undiscovered inventions. He became and remains an angel investor in many innovative ventures since 2001 both in the US and other countries. He has been instrumental in bringing to market a few products. Mr. Farhat has also founded a private venture capital firm. He works with a group of industry-leading, experienced professionals under the banner of Carrington Venture Capital to bring disruptive products to the market. The target products improve the health of the planet and the well-being of its inhabitants. The exit value of the most developed four out of the eleven projects under development is estimated at $5Billion US.
Additionally, Fardad and his senior partner and CFO John Bowen (with 40 years of experience as a CPA) co-founded Strategic Wealth Services. SWS is a private, by invitation only operation. Since 2001, more than 250 forward-thinking high and ultrahigh net worth clients (who are not held hostage by their CPAs in their limited thinking on how taxes actually work) have benefited from John's uncommonly advanced tax planning which has resulted in the reduction of the erosive effects of unnecessary taxation. The funds thus saved, further energize clients' businesses. As a result, clients can donate some of their savings to humanitarian causes. John's approach mitigates taxes on rents, royalties, interest, dividends, capital gains taxes and estate taxes.
