DISS_OTTERS

The current Diss Leisure Centre, on Victoria Road, dates back to the old open air swimming lido which the district council took over in 1974, but though it could be chilly in spring and autumn the open air pool was much loved by generations of swimmers in the warm summer months - not least when it hosted swimming gala... with a roof being added in the late 1980s. Diss Otters was formed in 1987, under the name of "Waveney Otters". The club has grown from strength to strength... Diss Otters Swimming Club aims to be a club for the community, working together at all levels and ages to inspire swimmers to reach their full potential.
