Dornier was founded in 2008, from a spin-off of the Maintenance Organization of Sea Air Inc.. Previously knows as Tigerair Philippines. It is engaged in Aircraft & Aircraft Systems Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services, which was mostly privately operated until it entered into commercial MRO in 2015... Dornier also built a series of successful land planes, including the Komet (Comet) and Merkur (Mercury) that were used by Lufthansa and other European carriers during the 1920s and early 50s
