DON ROWING CLUB

The Don Rowing Club was established in 1878 by the Christie brothers, who owned a vacant house on the banks of the Don River (hence the Don in our club name). At the time, the "club" was no more than an informal and convenient place for the friends to meet for rowing and to store their equipment. After multiple boat house moves, Don Rowing Club came to rest at its current location in the then-town of Port Credit in 1960.
