Joh-Mari Marais is a junior executive assistant who has completed her BA (LAW) degree at Stellenbosch University, as well as the SLP in Business Rescue at the University of Johannesburg (Cum Laude), in 2022, whilst working for DT Consult RSA. She is currently completing the Programme in South African Business Rescue that is jointly presented by INSOL International and SARIPA. She is also studying at Stadio Higher Education, focusing on information systems and languages (English, Afrikaans, German and Xhosa) and is in the process of completing her LLB degree. She has been training as a junior business rescue practitioner for the past two years and has been involved in various business rescue and restructuring assignments and the administration thereof.

Daniël Terblanche is a Senior Business Rescue Practitioner with more than twenty-seven years of experience in business rescue, insolvency, and restructuring, and has served in a number of capacities, ranging from business rescue practitioner and Chief Restructuring Officer to independent business reviewer. He has worked across a number of geographies, including the UK, the British Virgin Islands and Southern Africa, and across a number of industries, particularly within the mining, manufacturing, agricultural, retail, distribution, and property sectors. Daniel has assisted clients with restructuring debt, and redesigning company structures, and has served as an appointed Judicial Manager.

Juan is also highly skilled in external and internal audit, taxation planning and calculation, and valuations of legal entities. In addition to his professional experience, Juan is known for his attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Uwe is a well-rounded, outgoing individual with exceptional leadership skills. He has a proven track record of delivering strategic financial advice and executive-level services, including cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, and budgeting. Yolanda Bruwer is a senior executive assistant in the administration of Business Rescue, Insolvency and Restructuring Services and has more than thirteen years of experience in the field. She has served in a supportive role to a senior business rescue practitioner who, over the years, managed companies under business rescue across a number of industries, including retail & property groups, civil engineering, construction, electronics, clothing, food, wine producers and distributors, mining, and steel manufacturing. Her role is to attend to the administration of business rescue assignments and to serve in a supportive role to business rescue practitioners, whilst complying with the statutory requirements as prescribed by the Companies Act for companies in business rescue.
