Anthony Martinez

Anthony Martinez brings more than ten years of process operations and managerial experience to the Ecoremedy® team. His infectious positive attitude makes him a natural leader. He is a skilled operator of small equipment (loaders, skid steer, forklift, etc.) and holds a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). During the two-year pilot operations of Ecoremedy's biosolids gasification and drying facility located in Morrisville, PA, Anthony first served as Chief Operator and eventually became Plant Manager. Anthony built a diverse operations team in Morrisville, hiring and training skilled men and women to operate the facility. Not only did Anthony lead personnel training associated with full plant operations and maintenance from material receiving/handling, gasifying, drying, and emission control, he was instrumental in creating the preventive maintenance, safety, and standard operating procedures and protocols. As Plant Manager, his duties included record keeping, weekly report writing, adherence to permit requirements, and hosting tours.

Brad Morgan

Brad Morgan serves as Field Operations Manager for Ecoremedy® and brings more than 28 years of experience as an engineering and maintenance management professional. Brad began his career as an engineer and held leadership positions in seven greenfield startups for the power generation and pulp/paper industries. He specializes in building electrical, automation, and reliability systems with a personalized leadership style. As a Six Sigma green belt and advocate of continuous improvement for all processes, he is skilled and experienced with incremental change and overhauling outdated maintenance practices and systems. Brad also has developed countless low-cost improvements to realize significant cost savings and increased efficiency and productivity within manufacturing operations. He is skilled in cultural change initiatives, problem-solving, quality improvement, and increased productivity practices. Brad is a key Ecoremedy team member, helping to lead operations, construction, and plant commissioning. He lives in beautiful West Virginia with his wife and two crazy Boxers (dogs, that is).

Chad Knoll

Chad Knoll is a Field Specialist on the commissioning team that provides operations expertise and training to new customers at wastewater treatment plant projects where Ecoremedy® Fluid Lift Gasification™ technology is installed. For more than 24 years, Chad held management and operations positions at the world's largest pulp recycling mill in Fairmont, West Virginia. He had responsibilities in all areas of mill operation, including plant start-up, heavy machinery, digital systems, quality control, training and scheduling, transportation logistics, and wastewater treatment. As operations team leader, he coached team members on the importance of environmental and personal safety and was an influential mentor to numerous individuals. Chad has also launched and managed two businesses outside of the paper industry; a successful hair salon and a registered Myotonic goat farm where he breeds and sells livestock. An outdoor enthusiast, he loves ultra-light tackle trout fishing, classic cars.

David Mooney - CTO, President

As president and CTO of Ecoremedy®, David Mooney is a hands-on leader, motivating Ecoremedy's dynamic team of scientists, engineers, and leaders in their mission to design and deliver world-class waste management and energy recovery systems. A globally recognized expert in renewable energy solutions, Dave is the inventor of the Ecoremedy Fluid Lift Gasification™ technology. He is a two-time US and world patent holder known by his colleagues for his creative and innovative approach to solving the world's most challenging waste management issues as well as his approachability and self-effacing humor. Consulted by scientists at universities worldwide for his understanding of gasification, Dave is a sought-after speaker at industry events. He is a Virginia Tech trained engineer with three decades experience in waste repurposing, renewable energy generation, energy conservation, and value-added product development. Motivated by a core belief that we are to be good stewards of creation, Dave has made the challenge of turning waste liabilities into environmental opportunities his life's mission. Yet he points to his greatest accomplishment as his family. In his spare time, you can find Dave kayaking, hiking, and biking through central Pennsylvania with his wife, Kristin, or trying desperately to beat his two adult children in an ongoing battle of Kan Jam. Dion Banks

Dion Banks serves as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Ecoremedy® and brings more than two decades of international business experience to the Ecoremedy team. Dion's passion for fairness and equality ensures all stakeholders are represented in every transaction. He hosted a White House Roundtable on Renewable Energy for U.S. Department of Agriculture, served as a member of the Maryland Thermal Energy Taskforce, and participated in Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley's trade mission to Brazil. As an influencer for social and environmental issues, Dion elevates Ecoremedy's mission to treat local waste locally, thereby avoiding the social and environmental damage associated with long-haul treatment practices. Dion endeavors to live a life of service, acting as a conduit for awareness, development, and empowerment. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and earned a bachelor of arts in business management while serving in the U.S. Army. During his career in the military, Dion earned The Army Achievement Medal, The Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal - Saudi Arabia, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal - Kuwait. He is a lifetime member of the Dorchester County NAACP, served on numerous boards for service organizations, and is president and co-founder of Eastern Shore Network for Change (ESNC).

Kelly Gatto

Kelly Gatto serves as the Ecoremedy® office manager where she provides general and administrative support to Ecoremedy from within the management team of Rockwell Forest Products, Inc. Kelly holds a BA degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Before joining the team, Kelly was a logistics manager in the plastics industry where she helped to ensure the smooth ordering and delivery of products both domestically and internationally. Kelly loves spending time with her daughter, cheering for the Steelers and Pitt athletic teams, and doing anything outside.

Lauri Aston

Lauri Aston serves as the Ecoremedy® Human Resources Manager from within the management team of Rockwell Forest Products. She has more than 30 years of HR experience and currently manages payroll, recruitment, benefit administration, on-boarding, and compensation. One of many reasons Lauri enjoys this business and the challenges that come with her position is the opportunity it gives her to connect with people day-to-day. Lauri is a Business Administration graduate from Penn State University and is an accreditor for the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences. Outside of Ecoremedy, she is a Sunday School teacher and Boy Scouts of America Chartered Organization Representative. Laurie has two children, six grandchildren, and loves living in the country with her pets. In her free time, she enjoys driving her side by side and front loader, walking, reading, making crafts and landscaping.

Michael Nicholson

Michael Nicholson serves as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Ecoremedy®. He is responsible for all activities related to sales and development of the company's renewable energy gasification technology. Specializing in biosolids and organic residuals management, Mike draws on 33 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry to build Ecoremedy's relationships with government agencies, the engineering community, and manufacturers' representatives. He has a proven track record in working with municipalities to develop solutions for a broad range of issues and processes, including biosolids management and drying, gasification, and composting. Prior to Ecoremedy, Mike was the Director of The Denali Technology Group at Denali Water Solutions where for 16 years, he oversaw the selection of resource conversion technologies for the treatment of organic waste. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation and U.S. Composting Council as well as multiple regional associations in wastewater, biosolids and recycling. Mike has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. He lives in Maumee, Ohio with his wife Allison. They enjoy spending time with their three children and two Labrador Retrievers.

Mike Kaliszewski - CFO

Mike Kaliszewski serves as the Ecoremedy® chief financial officer where Mike plans and enables the company's strategic and operational initiatives. He also manages the financial and administrative action of the company. Upon graduation from Pennsylvania State University in 2009 and until 2021, Mike was employed at EY within the assurance practice, serving most recently with the title of senior manager. Mike brings over a decade of experience serving both public and private companies, domestic and international. Notably, Mike has extensive experience in both the construction and energy sectors. In addition to serving clients until 2020, Mike accepted a markets and business development role within the Americas assurance practice of the firm, where he teamed with key market leaders and core accounts all with the emphasis of supporting the firm's growth agenda. Mike is a CPA licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Mike resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his interests include fitness, wellness, reading, and cooking.

Ray Tedesco

Ray Tedesco has spent the last 30 years as either a CFO or outside CFO of numerous companies involved in transportation, automotive, waste management, medical technology, insurance brokerage, and distribution. Since 2002, Ray has acted as a sell-side advisor on more than a dozen corporate transactions and completed many acquisitions acting as the primary due diligence professional advancing those transactions through negotiations and structuring. He has worked with several early-stage companies assisting with strategic planning, serving as a board member, and focusing on capitalization as the companies proceed through the various rounds of financing. Aside from the transaction work, Ray provides ongoing corporate financial planning services to a small number of clients. Earlier in his career, Ray worked as a CPA for several national accounting firms as well as a certified financial planner in the wealth management industry.

S. Kent Rockwell - Chairman

Kent is Chairman of Ecoremedy® and Chief Executive Officer of Rockwell Venture Capital (RVC), Ecoremedy's investor. He founded RVC in 1983 and has invested in a variety of technology companies since its inception. They include four publicly traded companies in which he has held executive leadership positions: ExOne (industrial 3D printing systems), Argon ST (Boeing combat systems subsidiary), Astrotech International (science and technology development and commercialization), and SenSytech (cloud-based structural health monitoring solutions). Kent also served as Group President and Board Member of Rockwell International for ten years. Other companies in which he has invested include Rockwell Forest Products Inc., Strata Products Worldwide (underground mining services), Appalachian Timber Service (railroad timber products), Strata Proximity Systems (mining proximity detection and avoidance systems), and Pro Grass, LLC (synthetic turf supplier). He created and sold Puris, a metallurgical powder production company. Kent earned a bachelor's degree in both economics and business from Lafayette College and attended graduate school at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Chairman of the Board of the S. Kent Rockwell Foundation and serves on the Board of Trustees of Lafayette College as an Emeritus director.
