Dr. Winkel is a knowledgeable and caring doctor with 14 years of service to the Low Vision community here at the Center. She has 36 years of experience as an Optometrist in the Tri-City area. She gets great reviews from our client surveys. Clients are so thankful to receive the information and hope through the appointments at the clinics. She goes beyond what is required of her services, even going to see shut-in clients on occasion. We are very thankful for her commitment to the Center and our clients.

Shanna has been working at the center for 9 years. Her background is in office management with 24 years of experience working for non-profit organizations. She has been the Executive Administrator since January 2021. Shanna assists clients in finding the correct devices and aids, sales and ordering, inventory and cost control, grant writing, senior events, fundraising planning, and scheduling for the Low Vision clinics. She helps clients both at the Center and in their homes as needed.
