EL PASO PAGA

The El Paso PAGA is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as well as for the promotion of amateur golf and education through scholarships... The National Pan American Golf Association (P.A.G.A.) originated in 1947 when a golf group known as the Fore Golfers of San Antonio adopted the name "Pan American Golf Association". In 1956, all existing chapters, San Antonio, Houston, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Alice, Austin, and Brownsville met together for the first time and voted to become a State Organization and was chartered that same year in the State of Texas. In 1963, Oklahoma City joined the Pan American Golf Association and we became a National Organization... The El Paso Chapter sponsors a tournament each month which is played at all area courses located in El Paso and New Mexico. We promote amateur golf, junior golf, and education.
