Emiliano Settecasi is a Tampa-based artist currently examining the commodification of identity by centering his own disability and insecurity in work across a range of media. Influenced by contemporary design, branding, and advertising, Settecasi co-opts aesthetic cues from commercial marketing to critique the absurdity and self exploitation inherent in the late-capitalist/techno-feudalist concept of the individual as a brand.
