Their properties can be tailored towards a specific application. Therefore, the development of structure-property relations are essential for the bottom-up approaches to realize renewable energy systems... Energy Lab at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) focuses on solvation, transport, interfaces, and reaction mechanisms in ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, and similarly concentrated hydrogen bonded liquids.
