Huy T. Nguyen

Doctor H. T. Nguyen graduated from the University of Medicine of HCM City ( Viet Nam) in 1994, followed by 18 months fellowship in Lyon ( France ) and then 1 year research fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Ophthalmology. Starting from January 2007, Dr. Nguyen moved to Virginia and joined The Retina Centers of Washington, as photographer and medical assistant. He is fluent in Vietnamese, English and French.

Dr. Pedro M. Rivera obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating Magna Cum Laude as a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha; Ophthalmology Residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., serving as Chief Resident during his final year; Fellowship in Retinal Diseases at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington; Member of the Board of Trustees of Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB), since 2003. Dr. Rivera has been in private practice since 1998, and has special interest in Macular degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Hypertensive Retinopathy, Vascular Retinal Diseases and Retinal Detachments.
