The professional interior designer is qualified by education, experience and examination to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces. The designer seeks to improve the quality of life, increase productivity, and protect the health, safety and welfare of the public. Students will gain a strong base of knowledge and skills in the understanding and application of the design process, space and application of lighting and color, study of the basic and creative arts and computer applications of interior design. The interior design program at the FAD department leads, at the undergraduate level to a Bachelor of Arts degree
