FLAMINGO TENNIS

Snuggly nestled in the Wierda Park / Eldoraigne neighbourhoods of Centurion (Pretoria), lies Flamingo Park, home to Flamingo Tennis Club... Flamingo Tennis Club came to life in the summer of 1983. With its three courts and intimate clubhouse, it naturally grew into a tennis club that caters for the needs of the whole family. It is not uncommon at Flamingo to find two generations of the same family at the courts on a Saturday afternoon... Additionally to the homely atmosphere and strong social ties amongst the members, we have achieved noticeable success in the competitive leagues we that competed in the last couple of years. Our 1st men's team won their respective league in 2009 and came 2nd in 2010, after being promoted to a higher league. To compliment this, our 1st ladies team achieved a well earned second place in the 2010 league season.
