Hi I have very recently been given the privileged role of club secretary for GCC. I live in Pilling and have been cycling for 6 years and ride with the B2 group. The club has a diverse group of members who are all extremely friendly and welcoming. We have quarterly planned routes, regular park and rides, club doos and lots of laughter and club banter.

Phil returns as chairman after a 12-month lay off, so with 4 previous years under his belt, members know what to expect- which is to be asked (nicely of course)
to take an active part in volunteering to lead club runs, organise social events etc- every little helps! Now, semi-retired, Phil "Cycles a bit": in fact a lot… and has competed in many on road sportives and off-road MTB events over the years. Solo cycle touring/camping is one passion, as is Cycle Orienteering - Lakeland Lanequests being another group in which he plays a part.

Steve started cycling many years ago but only seriously since retiring, and rides regularly with the B2 group. He deals with the club finances and is the person to contact regarding payment of your membership fee.
