Girl Museum is the first museum in the world dedicated to girlhood. We are a virtual museum for exhibitions, education, and raising awareness about girls and girlhood globally. We are also an information platform for social/cultural dialogue and investigation... By including girls and centering their voices and experiences, Girl Museum has been creating conversations, challenging traditional ideas about girls and girlhood as well as gender norms, and promoting gender equality for a decade and a half. Each year, we produce exhibits, collaborative projects, educational activities, and publications that explore girlhood in the past and present for our community and global audience.
