Justis Gibbs is an Associate at Gibbs Travis PLLC in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Legal Communications. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. At graduation, Justis was the recipient of the 2021 Dean's Distinguished Service Award for his commitment to the Law School. During Law School, Justis was extensively involved at The University of Mississippi School of Law. Omar L. Nelson

For over 15 years, Omar L. Nelson has been advocating on behalf of consumers in litigation across state and federal courts in the State of Mississippi. His greatest professional joy is to see that a client who has been harmed by someone else's negligence receives justice and is made whole again. Mr. Nelson has achieved substantial monetary results for clients in the areas of automobile/18 wheeler accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, insurance bad faith, and nursing home litigation. His accomplishments on behalf of clients has been recognized by his membership in the coveted Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is a prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members. Mr. Nelson was featured in the June, 2012, issue of Attorney at Law Magazine as Trial Lawyer of the Month and recognized for his professional accomplishments in Portico Magazines' December, 2013, issue entitled "Raising the Bar." In 2012, the National Trial Lawyers recognized Mr. Nelson as a Top 40 under 40. Mr. Nelson has lectured to lawyers and staff on several legal topics, such as "Trial Preparation From Start to Finish for Mississippi Paralegals", "Using Medical Records to Prove Your Case in Mississippi", and "Top Ten Techniques for Taking an Effective Deposition." His work in the community remains as active as his law practice. Being active in the community and affecting the greatest good to the best of his ability remains a focal point. His message to anyone who has aspirations in life is "[o]ne should never give up on personal pursuits. Set yourself free from anything that might hinder you from achieving your goals. Though life is wrought with challenges, you must never give up. Your station in life depends on removing obstacles that would prevent you from becoming the person you ought to be." Mr. Nelson currently serves on the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation Board of Directors and, in 2014, he established a Political Science scholarship endowment created in his namesake. He is a former member of the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors, former member of the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project Board of Directors, former Chair of the Small Business Committee for the United Way Campaign of Vicksburg-Warren County, and former member of the City of Vicksburg Recreation Committee. Mr. Nelson received his primary and secondary education in the Vicksburg-Warren School District. He is a 1994 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi ("USM"). He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with an emphasis in English and received numerous awards and honors, including, Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities, Hall of Fame, Dean's List, and Lambda Sigma Honor Society. Most notably, in 1993, Mr. Nelson was elected president of the Student Government Association (SGA). Upon completing his undergraduate degree, he received a Master's degree in 1996 in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University and was the recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Student Award from his department. Mr. Nelson furthered his education at Mississippi College School of Law where he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2000. He was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in the Fredrick Douglas and American Bar Association Moot Court competitions. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Since entering the legal profession, his memberships include the Magnolia Bar Association and Mississippi Association for Justice ("MAJ") where he formerly held the office of MAJ parliamentarian, secretary, treasurer, and vice president. He served as barrister of the Charles Clark Chapter of the American Inns of Court and as commissioner on the Mississippi State Supreme Court Commission on Impaired Lawyers. Robert L. Gibbs

Robert L. Gibbs is an accomplished trial attorney whose practice emphasizes mass tort litigation, business litigation, product liability and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to starting Gibbs Travis PLLC, he was a partner for a large regional law firm for twelve years. Also, he served for seven years as a Circuit Judge for the Seventh Judicial District of Mississippi. Mr. Gibbs has been honored numerous times for legal acumen and practice excellence, and is among less than 1% of attorneys in the nation to be named to Chambers USA, a London-based published guide to America's leading lawyers. He is also ranked in the prestigious Best Lawyers in America directory. Additionally, Mr. Gibbs is the recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Judge Award, the Jack Young Sr. Attorney Award from the Jackson Branch NAACP and the Award of Distinction from the Mississippi Bar. He formerly served as President of the Bar Association of the Fifth Circuit, President of the Charles Clark Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and President of the Mississippi Bar Foundation. He is a member of the Fellows of the Mississippi Young Lawyers and is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and for the past 15 years, Gibbs has taught Trial Practice as professor of the Mississippi Collage School of Law. Terry Wallace is an experienced attorney who represents clients in civil and criminal matters in both state and federal cases. Terry Wallace is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, and the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, MS. He is an experienced attorney who represents clients in civil and criminal matters in both state and federal cases. He is extensively skilled in trial litigation. He started his legal career as an attorney with the Judge Advocate General's Lawyer's Corp. of the United States Air Force. During his military service he defended clients in criminal court martials and other military proceedings. After completion of his military service with an honorable discharge, Attorney Wallace's experience has expanded from military law to include experience in such areas as personal injury and accidents, criminal defense, divorces, child custody, support, and other domestic family matters. Terry Wallace also has years of experience in handling municipal and other governmental law cases, constitutional rights matters, property disputes, and other plaintiffs or defense claims. Attorney Wallace is an effective communicator in the courtroom, as well as other public and administrative forums. He has served as a presenter at numerous continuing legal education seminars and courses for other lawyers.
