We believe that Glebe is a very special club, with a long history of camaraderie, not to mention success on the water. Founded in 1879, Glebe is one of the oldest rowing clubs in Australia... Situated on Blackwattle and Rozelle Bays about two kilometres from the centre of Sydney, Glebe Rowing Club has had a strong emphasis on community since it was founded in 1879... We believe those words remain as true today as they were over 70 years ago and encapsulate what we still stand for.
