Originally incorporated as RCS Corporation in 1987, our legal name was changed in 1995 to Security Corp. of Virginia with our trade name of American Security & Control (ASC) ever since. ASC was purchased by Michael Gillies, a retired Naval Flight Officer, in 2008 where he passionately managed and expanded the business, mentoring his son Brett, also a Navy veteran, in small business ownership starting in 2021... American Security & Control has proudly provided services across all site types and industries in northern Virginia since 1987. We recently received our license for Washington, D.C. and were certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) by the Small Business Administration... Our network of professional, reliable guards and experienced leadership team provide our (often repeat-) clients with peace of mind.
