Angelica joined our team in May of 2020, and she made an immediate impact with her customer service skills. Her personality and charm really make customers feel welcomed. As a former Customer Service Manager for State Farm, she brings experience in Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance, as well as 12 years of customer service experience, to our agency. She is a definite people person, who finds true joy in assisting others in finding the right fit for their insurance needs throughout their life. Although she has only been living in Horry County since 2013, she wants to make this her home. Angelica and her husband Kevin moved here from New York and reside in Conway, SC. They purchased their first home together and were married in November of 2018. When she is not in "insurance mode," she really enjoys spending time with her family, including two fur babies: Tobie and Murphy, her sister, and in-laws (who live in Murrells Inlet). In addition, she spends her free time crafting, dog training, bowling, playing billiards and exploring new hobbies. She is always up for a challenge!
Lisa joined our agency in May of 2020, and her experience in commercial lines has really added a tremendous value to our customers and allows us to offer more commercial coverages. She has a great sense of humor that makes insurance easy to understand and ‘almost' fun to talk about. Lisa has over 23 years of experience as an underwriter for the Kimbrell Insurance Group (now Burns and Wilcox), and 5 years the independent agent role. With Lisa's depth of experience, she is an efficient commercial agent. She really enjoys helping customers modify their coverages as they grow their businesses.
Lisa has been in Conway since 1991. Her family moved here from Summersville, West Virginia after high school. She married Tim Brown and they live in Conway where they have raised their 2 children, Dakoda and Gracie. She loves everything about her time on the beach, her tall cups of coffee, spending time with her family, and supporting her West Virginia Mountaineers.
Mrs. Amy Hilburn, Director at Hardee Insurance Group, has a passion for assisting friends with their insurance needs. She is licensed in P&C and Life Insurance. Mrs. Hilburn managed a State Farm Office for nine years in Horry County. She brings 15 years of Customer Service Management experience to the Hardee Insurance Group.
Amy has been in sales her entire career, and has been very successful in creating a reputation for offering outstanding customer service. She loves getting to know new customers and pairing their needs with the best coverages available. She has a wealth of insurance training, knowledge, and experience. She is originally from Connecticut, but has made South Carolina her home since 1994.
Amy has been married to Lee Hilburn since 2010. She is the mother of two children Taylor and Catherine plus two bonus children Shelby and Jordan Hilburn. She is a member of The Rock Church in Conway and volunteers in their children's ministries. Amy and her family enjoy the beach, horse back riding, and volunteering.
Trent Hardee, P.E. Owner of Hardee Insurance Group, has lived in Horry County all his life. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1997. He has been married for 19 years to Amanda Lovell Hardee, and they have three teenage daughters, twins: Madelyn and Elizabeth, and McKenzie.
Hardee is an entrepreneur who brings experience and a diverse background to the insurance world. With 19 years of heavy civil construction, land development and design, Trent understands the challenges involved in owning your own business, employee hazards and the importance of protecting your hard-earned assets.
Trent also has a heart for the community and has served the through coaching recreational leagues, serving District 11 on the Horry County School Board (2008-2012), and working 10 years as a volunteer Youth Pastor since 2007 at Pisgah UMC, Aynor, SC.
In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, golfing, and entertaining family and friends.
