Hendrick Automotive Group headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., was founded in 1976 by Rick Hendrick. Hendrick serves as Chairman of Hendrick Automotive Group, Hendrick Companies LLC, and Hendrick Motorsports. One of the nation's largest automotive retail groups in the United States, Hendrick Automotive Group generated $9 billion in revenue in 2017 after selling more than 200,000 vehicles and servicing 2.6 million cars and trucks. Hendrick leads the organization, which employs more than 10,000 people, as its chairman.
