Joe graduated in 1978 with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. He worked for Ernst & Young in Atlanta before moving back to Ellijay, Georgia to work for a local CPA firm. Joe then acquired the firm and built it into the largest firm in North Georgia with offices in Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and Jasper. He served as managing partner of Hensley, Land & Associates, PC for 20 years, before selling the firm and moving on to other ventures in 2000...
