Mr. Hari Das Khunteta, CA, retired as Director (Finance and Accounts), on Board of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, New Delhi after serving as board member from May 2004 to July2012. Earlier, he also held additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of the company from April 16, 2011 to November 29, 2011. He had also served as Executive Director (Finance) in NHPC Ltd., Sr. position in Renusagar Power Co. unit of Hindalco, Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd. etc. Mr. Khunteta is a veteran professional of the power sector and has remarkable experience in Financial Planning, Business Analysis, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, treasury Management, Raising of resources including Hedging / Swap transaction to reduce cost of borrowing. He is at present Insolvency Professional and Managing Director of Headway Resolution and Insolvency Services Pvt Ltd an Insolvency Professional Entity, recognized by IBBI. He is empanelled with the State Bank of India to act as an IRP/ RP. He is also a Member of INSOL India.
Mr. Phillips is a Seasoned finance professional (BS, MS, MBA) with leadership and experience in Turnarounds, Restructuring & Distressed Situations which encompasses financial services, insurance, automotive and technology industries. He has worked d with some of the most reputed global corporations like J.P. Morgan, AIG, General Motors etc. Mr. Phillips was a critical member of AIG's (NYSE: AIG) $185 billion rescue during the 2008 Global Economic Crisis. He helped formulate the recapitalization and restructuring of AIG's global franchises working rigorously with various corporate functions including Enterprise Risk Management, Taxation, Legal, Accounting & Compliance departments. Mr. Phillips was also involved in Board-level strategic turnaround efforts at General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM).
