HOPE FOR KORAH

We seek to live out our values of sustainability and cultural competency. To achieve this, HFK dedicates its efforts to an attainable and permanent strategy through our operational agreement with the Ethiopian government, collaboration with our Ethiopian staff and creating local partnerships that further our impact for training, resources, program linkages and experience-sharing connections. All HFK programs in Korah are administered by Ethiopians and we employ more than 40 staff, many of whom live within the Korah community. Our partnership and multifaceted approach have proven to be an effective and powerful advocacy combination that has yielded tangible and ongoing results... Hope for Korah began as a group of friends and family who focused on helping to transform the lives of those living in poverty in Korah, Ethiopia. We believe God gave the HFK board and staff in Canada, the U.S. and Ethiopia a vision for Korah and together, we have passionately pursued a plan to make..
