HUCCLECOTE

Team colours of royal blue and yellow were taken from an early club sponsorship from Coles, a local Gloucester estate agent. However, rumour has it that the original team manager also supported Everton, for which blue and yellow were the away colours! Within age groups, we are represented by Hawks, Harriers and Hurricanes, which is in recognition of the City's link to aviation; namely the Meteor, which was the first jet engine aircraft, developed by Sir Frank Whittle at the Gloucester Aircraft Company... Established in 1973, Hucclecote Youth Football Club is based at King George V Playing Fields, Hucclecote, Gloucester.
