We are proud to announce that our own Kim Sprenger is a newly minted National Champion! She took the age-group title at this year's Michigan Titanium, which was the home of USA Ultra-Distance Nats (ultra-distance is the distance many people call ‘Ironman'…although of course that's a brand name). We've all known Kim is fast-now the rest of the country knows too. Way to go, Kim!... Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, members, and friends, our 2019 Holiday Party was a night to remember. It was our first event held at Lucky's Market in Iowa City, and the venue was absolutely perfect. (Unfortunately, we learned only a few weeks later that Lucky's will be closing later this year…we don't think we had anything to do with that decision. But we'll sadly have to look for another venue…... It's maybe a little misleading to call this a race ‘report', as much of that day went by in a blur of single track and gravel.
