IDLERS 4 WHEEL DRIVE CLUB

The Idlers 4WD Club of Victoria was formed in 1995 with just under twenty members. According to publicity at the time, the key attraction of the new club was the prospect of being able to meet and tour when other people are at work!... From our home base in Melbourne, we conduct day trips, base camps and extended remote touring trips to various parts of Australia. These trips can involve tents, off road camper trailers and caravans or full size road caravans, depending on the destination. These destinations could be to our much loved Victorian high country, or to the Mallee, or to many classic locations further away such as Cape York, Arnhem Land, The Kimberley, the Simpson Desert, the Flinders Ranges, Fraser Island or to many of our wonderful and remote National Parks. In other words, just about anywhere in this great land of ours... For retired and semi-retired, operating in off-peak periods
