INSIGHT ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC

I became interested in holistic health therapies, and acupuncture specifically, after struggling with an untreated thyroid condition for several years. After my first session of acupuncture, I came away with a sense of calmness and wellbeing that I had not felt in for a long time. I decided right then and there that I had to learn this medicine! I graduated from Dongguk University of Los Angeles in 2001 and have been practicing since 2002... My first career was teaching, and I have over twelve years of experience teaching both children and adults with developmental disabilities. I am also a reading specialist, and work with struggling readers, and have recently taught as an adjunct professor at several local community colleges. I am constantly finding new ways to integrate and apply what I have learned in my holistic healing journeys to my teaching practices, such as mindfulness in reading and learning, and using acupressure to help increase focus and concentration.
