Interorient Marine Services Ltd was founded in 1979 with the aim of becoming a first class ship manager with a global reputation for excellence and reliability. Over the years the company has grown, diversified and today has in-house expertise and a proven track record in providing all management services a ship owner may require. The company offers tailor made management solutions for ship owners and has also assisted companies with their first ventures into ship owning.
Due to the ever increasing regulatory arena and the demands of society placed upon the shipping industry, the management of ships has become a complex business that demands a high level of expertise and competence.
Themis Papadopoulos graduated from the University of Warwick before joining Interorient Navigation Co Ltd in 1997. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2004, a position which he holds within the Group today. He is the current President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Vice Chairman of the International Chamber of Shipping and a board member in various industry bodies including OEB and is also a director of numerous companies including Eurogate Container Terminal Limassol and Interorient Shipping Fund AIF V.C.I.C. PLC.
