JERVIS BAY SAILING CLUB

With the financial assistance of the NSW Governments Local Sports Grants Program, the Jervis Bay Sailing Club is proud to announce that we have fitted a new Yamaha four stroke outboard motor to our club RIB, which will improve our ability to host sail training programs, run yachting races, deliver power boat operators' courses and support major regattas. The RIB can now be utilized to support other like - minded clubs hosting major events by providing reliable on-water support for Jervis Bay and local District Events... Jervis Bay is recognised as one of the best sailing venues in Australia and worldwide. The waters are a pristine Marine Park. There are virtually no navigation hazards and boat traffic is light. The oval shaped bay is 15 km (7 nautical miles) long and 8 km (4 nautical miles) wide. Depth ranges from 10-20 m over most of the bay.
