The KAW-MET foundry is a long standing family run company where experience is gathered through practice and is passed on from generation to generation. Its history stretches back to 1981... The foundry has been aimed at producing heating appliances since its conception: cast iron fireplaces, free standing stoves, cast iron boiler elements. We also produce industry fittings: pressure valves, filters, sleeves, brake drums, brake shoes, starter motor housings, camshafts, transmission parts, drive wheels, transmission housings, throttles and artistic casts: ornamental fence elements, garden grills, bench construction elements and commemorative plaques. The foundry also fulfills various custom order casts... Smelting is conducted in three induction furnaces and two shaft furnaces, also known as Cupola furnaces.
