PT. LABROY SHIPBUILDING ENGINEERING owners are ex-owners of a reputable shipping and shipbuilding company since 1978. They had built and delivered offshore supply vessels, tankers, cement carriers and rigs from the 2 shipyards in Batam island which the company was sold in 2008. In 2012, the owner acquired and started the construction of this new yard at Batam island.
