Dr. Alexander C. Back was born in Pennsylvania but was raised in the Northern Virginia area. Dr. Back completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where he majored in Biological Sciences. After graduating in 2016, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he obtained his Master of Science in Oral Health and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Back was a founding member and served in the Board of Directors of Boston University Dental Aesthetics Society. Thereafter, he returned home to Virginia to join the Dental Group at Reston Station. A long-time patient of the practice, Dr. Back is excited to now provide to his patients the excellent standard of care he became accustomed to. Dr. Back is a sports enthusiast, and is now proudly serving as a Team Dentist for: D.C. United - Major League Soccer Loudoun United - American Professional Soccer Washington Spirit - National Women's Soccer Old Glory DC - Major League Rugby Dr. Back is also a member of the LeadShare Committee of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Anthony Moawad received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Saint Joseph University in 2005. He then graduated with High Honors from Boston University as a Doctor in Dental Medicine in 2008. He was awarded the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Moawad has completed advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implantology, Sedation Dentistry, TMD, Laser Dentistry, Sleep Apnea and Invisalign. He received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Moawad is a Certified Conscious Sedation dentist and a Preferred Invisalign Provider. He has been voted Top Dentist in the Washingtonian and Virginia Living Magazines. Dr. Moawad serves as Team Dentist for the following organizations: D.C. Dr. Emilio Canal, Jr. completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, Florida. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1990, where he received Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society Award for Excellence in Clinical Achievement. Dr. Canal has served as member of the U.S. Lacrosse Sports and Safety Committee and is on the U.S. Soccer Federation Medical Advisory Committee. He is a Fellow of the Academy for Sports Dentistry and was elected President of the Academy in 1999 and 2009. Dr. Canal also received the Distinguished Service Award from the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association in 1999. He has been voted Top Dentist in Washingtonian Magazine, Washington Checkbook Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine.

Dr. Mauricio R. Colomo received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Mayor de San Andres University, La Paz, Bolivia in 1998. After the completion of the doctorate program, Dr. Colomo lived in Brazil while he completed a Master of Science in Endodontics, in addition to, an Endodontic Specialty Residency during the years of 1999-2001. Thereafter, he moved back to Bolivia, where he practiced General Dentistry and Endodontics for 12 years. In 2013, he came to the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in Baltimore to complete a two years residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He then settled in Maryland and continued to provide dental care in the states of Maryland and Virginia until 2020, when he joined the Dental Group at Reston Station. Dr. Colomo is a certified lnvisalign provider and focuses his practice on Endodontics and Adult Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Colomo serves as a Team Dentist for the following organizations: D.C. United -Major League Soccer Washington Spirit-National Women's Soccer South Lakes High School Oakton High School Dr. Colomo sits on the Lead Share Committee of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Michael Messina completed his undergraduate studies at St. Joseph's College in New York. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Messina has completed advanced training for the diagnosis and treatment of Occluso-Muscular Dysfunction, as well as Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD) from the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the Piper Institute. Dr. Messina serves as Team Dentist for the following organizations: D.C. United - Major League Soccer U.S. Soccer Federation National Teams South Lakes High School Oakton High School Official U.S. Olympic Committee Provider Dr. Messina has served as a Member of the U.S. Lacrosse Sports Science and Safety Committee and is on the U.S. Soccer Federation Medical Advisory Committee. Dr. Messina has been a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry since 1990, earned his fellowship in 2001, and served on the Board of Directors for the Academy from 2000 to 2003. In 1999, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association. He also was voted top rated dentist in the Washington Checkbook magazine and recently mentioned by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Top Dentists in the Washington Metro Area, as selected by his peers.
