In 1969, two Detroit Tiger Scouts, Warren Almond and Emil Gall founded the Flushing Tigers organization which was subsequently re-located to Long Island and renamed the Long Island Tigers. Since then, the Long Island Tigers Baseball Club has built a solid reputation as being one of the finest sandlot baseball programs in the country. In our long history year history, over one thousand players have gone on to play for many prestigious NCAA Division I, and II Collegiate Programs.
